Oven Baked Pork Chops

Ingredients

4 thin cut pork loin chops approximately 1.33 lbs

3 Tbsp Olive Oil

¼ Tsp Rosemary

½ Tsp Thyme

¼ Tsp Onion Powder

1/8 Tsp Red Pepper Flakes

1 Granny Smith Apple sliced thin

1 Medium Onion cut in half and sliced then separated

2 Teaspoons Garlic Minced

¼ Tsp Paprika

¼ Tsp Salt and Black Pepper

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

  • Line non-stick pan with tinfoil
  • Put 3 Tbsp Olive Oil in pan along with all the spices and stir.
  • Then coat front and back of the pork chops in the mixture and set aside
  • Using ½ of the onions and apple lay a layer of onion and apple in the pan
  • Add the pork chops back to the pan
  • Using the other ½ of the onions and apple place a layer on top of the pork chops

Bake

Cover with tinfoil and place in oven for 15 minutes at 375 degrees

Lower Temperature to 225 degrees and cook for 1 hour

I like to servie this with Spiced Maple Carrots and creamed spinach
