Publix Apron Cooking School Chef’s and Wine Cellar Masters
Today marks a new era for these Fine Chefs and Wine Cellar Masters from the Publix Apron Cooking School in Jacksonville, Florida. They closed their doors on July 31, 2023.
It is a sad day for the foodies and connoisseurs who want to learn the tips and techniques of food preparation. The knowledge they brought to the classes has enriched our lives and the lives of our families and friends. For me especially, having an egg allergy it was great to be able to speak with professionals about a recipe and get their great suggestions on alternate ways to make a dish safely.
In honor of the knowledge, I have gained in my quest for an enriched fuller eggless life, I am showcasing them on my site.
Introducing to my readers, Miss Ansley Dickens – Senior Managing Chef, a caterer who enjoys sharing the joy of food and dessert celebrations. According to the Publix Cooking School website she studied culinary management at Florida State College. I liked her presentation and delivery of the recipes, and how she shared her tips and ideas for the menu with enthusiasm.
Acknowledging the expertise of Chef Ted Broomfield, I really enjoyed how he had true concern for anyone with allergies. Ted takes interest and enjoyment in sharing and receiving knowledge from foodies and connoisseurs alike. His style and talent in the kitchen along with his suggestions and creative sense regarding his meal creations enlighten the mind and the palate of everyone. Chef Broomfield (Ted) and I had multiple conversations regarding cooking and his tips and substitution suggestions were enlightening.
Chef Angel you can tell he genuinely enjoys the whole process of preparing and cooking food as it was always reflected in his voice and how he presented the dishes on the menu. It was interesting, and fun learning from him.
I wish them the best with all their future culinary careers, as they will be missed.
