After researching some articles, I have added some new ones under the Eating Out and FAQ and Desserts and Substitutions sections.  The newest one I just added March 02, 2024 is about the Food Jargon Labels on packages.

I wanted a pumpkin pie but knew if I ate one then a visit to the ER would be a part of my immediate future.  So after I decided to try to invent one.  It is with great pride that I have created a new recipe that incorporates the flavors of a pumpkin pie with a hint of Chai.  Everyone who has eaten it so far has loved it so much that they came back for a second slice.  You will find this in the “ALL THINGS DESSERTS” section.  Eggless Pumpkin Pie Spice Cake with a Chai Reflection Cream Cheese Frosting.

I have also created a wonderful Turkey Apple -n- Sage dressing and a No-Bake Cinnamon Spice Cream Pie.  It will be uploaded over the next two days.

I am working on several other articles too.  Coming soon “Interpreting Food Label Jargon.

An ongoing Glossary has been added to the footer of the home page.  It is still in progress.  I have many more to add that I have researched.  These are preservatives, emulsifiers, and additives that are in food products.  Some are made from or have eggs in the process ingredients.  Some are listed because the side effects are worth noting.  So please check back next week frequently for those updates.

I have added a new section to the menu line;  Influences Section.  I have an article about our last class at the Publix Cooking School.  in honor of the Chefs that has taught me some tips and suggestions about egg-free life cooking.

If you are interested in knowing about my last Anaphylactic reaction, I wrote about it so people can understand what happens and the medications that combat it.  Check it out. “My experience with an Anaphylactic episode.”  It is under the Eating Out section.

Some other articles are:  “Sudden Egg Allergy”, “Ingredient Breakdown of Mayonnaise”, “Understanding Natasha’s Law”, “Tangy Lemon Cake”, “Vanilla Sensation Cake” and “Guacamole Favorita”.   The resources page has Allergy Place cards!  So, if you want to print them for your next party or event it is free.  To better understand the preservatives, emulsifiers, and thickening agents on labels to find out if they are processed with eggs or what they are made from, check out “The Hidden Egg” and The Secrets of Hidden Eggs”.

Please check back again so I can share with you more recipes and articles to make our lives food-safe and knowledgeable.
